The University of Edinburgh USA Development Trust, Inc.

The University of Edinburgh USA Development Trust is an independent non-profit organization based in the United States that supports teaching, research and student activities at the University of Edinburgh.

Since its establishment in 1992 the Trust has made over $8 million in grants to support academic and student activities at the University.

The US Trust recently contributed to a scholarship to allow 2 students from Edinburgh, Laura Bruce-Wootton and Stephanie Kuklinski, to attend Stanford University's prestigious International Summer Program. The generosity of the US Trust's donors is making it possible for more students to enhance their Edinburgh experience.

"It’s hard to explain what this experience has meant to me...It’s helped me grow tremendously, both academically and personally, and it’s opened my eyes to all the things I can achieve if I put my mind to it. I feel like I’ve fallen back in love with learning again and I can’t wait to apply the knowledge and skills I’ve gained here to my life back home."

Laura Bruce-Wootton

"This summer has been truly transformative. For me, the Stanford experience has offered unique and inimitable global perspective...I feel so very appreciative to have met such likeminded, intelligent and inspiring students. Above all, I feel so privileged to have been a part of the Stanford community this summer. I am exceptionally grateful to have shared this life-changing experience"
